Community Empowerment Center

Programs

The CEC, Inc. stands ready to help organizations and groups with inner-city intervention through after-school programs, child care, crime prevention, workforce development, and special needs children's services.  We have partnered with organizations through collaborative efforts by serving  impoverished communities through seminars and services, not only in the U.S., but also in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Honduras,  and Mexico.

The CEC, Inc. Bloomfield Community After-School Program
The program is a partnership with the 21st Century Community Learning Center. Not only do we serve inner city youth from fractured areas, but the CEC, Inc. After-School program also has a S.T.E.A.M. curriculum, focused on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

Special Needs Child Assistance
It is our aim to offer free special needs assessments and guidance for parents in understanding about their child's disability and direct them to services that offer hope to the entire family. Our specialist will work with the families and guide them through the discovery and implementation process.

Young Men & Women Mentoring Initiative
Helping young girls and boys in understanding acceptable behaviors, while developing ethics and a commitment to successfully abide by the rules of society.

Family Support Program
Our goal is to empower the families through health and human services and awareness, education, and employment opportunities in the communities. This is accomplished through working with our community partners and government agencies and businesses.
